We have the weekend off, plan to head away early Friday.

Due to recommendations on here and other sites undecided where to go, was thinking maybe Castle Ward or Benone, not been to any of them before.

Anyone else heading anywhere?

Oh we are down in the wilds of County Clare!

...so I calculate max speed of the van + distance to travel = leaving now we would get there in about 3 weeks

Just checked online. Benone is closed already.

I would check with Castle Ward as we were there last Saturday and it was full.
