Sadly we have to be in Europe this year at that time. But we'll look out for similar on our travels.

Great price but It states "access to both occupants"- What do we do with the Kids?? Also is there hook up or "wilding" in a field?

Parking is on grass.
No hook up.

Price for the fair is £10 per person (over 12) per day so £25 for parking for the weekend, entry into the fair both days and live entertainment on Saturday evening isn't too bad.

Keith's phone number is on the info. Call him about the kids. I can't see it being a problem. He is a good guy.

sounds like a great price and might just make the trip but i have a good bit of experience attending game fairs and other fairs and festivals over the years but in a car of jeep most times.
so when i see grass parking although ok for light vehicles always for the most part tend to get very churned up even after just a light shower and sometimes without any rain at all so i think with a heavier vehicle like a motorhome that problem would be doubled even more! so my question is whats the plan in this situation as £25 is nothing for a weekend like this but when your van gets stuck in a quagmire that £25 could turn into £250 very easy?

We were there last year. Although the weather was dry the organiser of the fair assured us there was great drainage.
There are plenty of jeeps etc and I imagine there would be help if it was required.

Like anywhere else on grass you take your chance I suppose. For £25 you can't really expect too much.

You're right he is a good guy.

He'd be an even better guy if he joined MHC, then he could answer any questions himself :D

I was there last year and had a great time,my instinct when grass parking is mentioned is to first check the weather forecast for that event and secondly to check ground conditions when arriving.
I have a tag axle which is not the best in slippery conditions but we cannot expect hardstanding at events like this just because we are Motorhomers.
Well done Keith for securing this venue for another year and at a very reasonable price and i hope to be there.

Just to let anyone who is interested in attending the scarva country fair this year. Keith will be at Hagans this weekend 18-19 March. You can book with him in person if you are there.

He will be in an Autotrail Delaware.
