We had external screen (Dethleffs Ducato) now recently got Burstner (2009) also Ducato with much larger panoramic windscreen and side windows. Now have concertina internal blinds. Only slept 2 nights and really notice the condensation. Do we have to buy Burstner external or is there a cheaper version? Would Renault Master be too small?
Yes, the model year span is quite long, like 1995-2009 and then 2009 - or something like that. If you look at the silver screens website, it will give you the years etc.

They are usually something you have to order online as there are so many variations in A Class Motorhomes that no one will stock them, you may get lucky with the Ducato/transit/master cab based ones but unlikely. At motorhome dealers I have only ever seen the internal ones never external.
I have internal ones for our A class, best place for them is in the shed at home, next to useless. External is the only way to go, or forget about screens and buy a window vac, depends what countries and what time of year you intend visiting them.

Yes they are the best option to reduce condensation as well as keep the cab area warmer in winter and cooler in summer.
You buy them to suit which ever model of cab you have Ducato(inc Peugeot and Citroen versions) Renault, Ford etc as well as by the year of manufacture.

I was tidying out the garage at home yesterday and came across that cushioned foil stuff for the back of radiators. I was thinking a piece of this cut to the size of the screen and put behind concertina blinds should work quite, or quilt, well.
