Fitted something similar to this last year and so far it's working a treat. It will send me a text if the ignition is turned on or if the camper moves outside of a boundary. You can also shut off the engine by sending a message on your phone. If you dial the number it will also send you its exact location on Google maps. The only downside is the insurance companies will not approve it.

I have been using a early version of one of these i.e. you send it a text and it sends you one back so does not have all the fancy bits.
Taking of fancy bits every report or comment on forums say DO NOT connect the engine stop function, I will let you work out why but just think of someone driving your 3.5t at 30mph plus whatever and the engine simply stopped dead would not fancy the back ends chances
