Irish ferries prices 2016

I was chatting to a few Motorhomers at the weekend and the general opinion was that ferry prices had shot up this year. I think this must be while the football is on in France during early summer.

I am not going to France in the Motorhome this summer but thought I would check the prices for the same dates in August we traveled last year and found this years price to be €522.90 compared with last years of €505.80. With the current exchange rates it would be even cheaper than last year after conversion.

Just proves dates make a difference.

In reality one of the reasons they give for high prices is the cost of fuel, and look where that has gone since last year!

They seem to have raised their prices first two weeks in june
I take it that's when football is ??

I thought so too, but we went june last year, whereas we're going july this year. I'm going landbridge to save a few quid, plus it gets us up the coast that wee bit further.
