Our latest van sits very low at the front, so much so that it requires levellers at all times. If we installed Air Suspension could/would it lift it at the front?

The back is very high so we could lower the back instead if that is possible?

What about updated shocks

Would it not need the springs changed or adjusted rather than shocks.

Leaf springs at the back, coil at the front.

They have some good stuff OK ,it looks like you might just get longer front springs Ally ,my air assist only lifts the van by about 1 cm and is rock hard if you did this the ride would be horrific

I'd go for springs Alley as it's the front I put air suspension in the rear of mine it's great lifts a good three inches especially when boarding some ferrys but don't think it would be as good on the front but beware you don't want hight and hardness what is your base vehicle is it coil or leaf spring Edd

Filling the garage with carlsberg would lower the rear of the MH, unfortunately I have no recommendations for the homeward journey.

09 Ducato, Coil in the front, leaf in the back.

Thinking about it, it would be more beneficial to lower the back, it sits quite high and if I lift the front it'll make the habitation step further from the ground

I'd be careful about lowering the back if the overhang is longish. when you load up for hols it might end up too low and cause trouble on ferry ramps and the like.
Also if it looks overloaded it might draw the attention of the 'weight police'.

A friend who had a Burstner A Class riding low at the frond got different springs fitted at Donaghey's and is delighted with the result. He describes the ride as 'less bouncy'.

Remember there's a lot of weight on the front axle of a motorhome, particularly if it's an over-cab bed layout. Some UK manufacturers put the water tank right at the back as a counterbalance if the layout has the kitchen in the middle or front and an end lounge.

Good points, I'll speak to Donagheys or LTS. My water tank is in the middle'ish, slightly more to the front than the back.

It's an Itineo A Class...

I fitted air suspension to the rear of my old van this year - can confirm there is about three inches height change in it. Made a huge difference to the drive of the van. You can also use it for levelling when parked up as the air bags run on separate supply lines.

I would make sure to get a guarantee that any modification done on the van will work

Move you're water tank back and fill it with water and that should sort it out.
