hi guys,

hoping you might be able to help me a little bit! not sure if this is the best place for it - so feel free to correct me!

I'm looking to get a bike rack for our camper - it's a Knaus traveller 520 - but it has four brackets on the back that look like it previously had a rack... do I have to get one that fits these brackets? Are there recommended places?

Thanks in advance!

Killian

i see you are in Kildare , try Maynooth motorhomes for info , they may have the size rack to match your rack holder

Thanks a mill! I figured it had - subscribed yesterday but I think I saw somewhere that it takes a day or two for it to activate so I will give it another search today!

Maynooth Motorhomes may be good alright - thanks for that! will hopefully get out at the weekend!

killiland try eastcoastcampers (will find the guy on Donedeal, always advertising as 'the camperman has the parts'. Im sure he will have a fiama rack from any van that will fit. The brackets are generic for many bikeracks. The racks last for years so even an older one will still be good and the straps that hold the wheels into the rack can be bought cheaply from Donagheys for 6Euro each. Then a few ratchet straps from any DIY store and your away.

thanks a mill! I got onto east coast (had manged to find a photo) and they've advised that the four points that are currently on it are not standard and so whilst they could provide one that will use two points, they will need to fit another two points! I'm going to check prices etc.. but seems that may have to be the solution!
