You might be better off with a chassis mounted bike rack if it doesn't obstruct entry to your rear storage, Nick. Electric Bikes are heavy to be lifting up high, we have a chassis mounted one and find it much easier to load and unload the Bikes than the one on the back wall of the Van.

Thanks Ken, I'll mention it to Simon, he's doing the fixing. Are they much difference in price and appearance?
Abbey caravans do a range of electric bikes. I bought one for my mum last year.
Great prices too. The same bike was in another caravan sales place at the same time but £300 more.
I see abbey caravans are now advertisers on this site so don't forget to mention Motorhome craic if you do go.

Ah yes Mark, thats where the bike is going to come from, only via Ally!
Did you ever consider converting your existing bicycle? I got our two done at approx 650 euro each. They simply change the front wheel, 700 I think, which has the motor and they replace your carrier with the battery pack. I did have an electric bike but the boss used to use it and I would struggle to keep up with her on my normal bike -- Not fit simply.
We used KenBay cycles for the two conversions and they are based in Dublin 24 but i am sure there are others.
Hope this is useful. Cheers
