Unlike whisky diesel can't be watered down. Any water in diesel will find its way into the filter.
Oil and water don't mix.
What we pay for fuel is fixed by local cartels. Go obviously have decided not to join in.

I was only messing regarding watering it down 😎🎅👍
I wonder is there less additives or something with the cheaper juice though as you often hear of injector issues etc with some dodgy diesel...I've noticed over the years also that you can get better mileage from some garages Diesel over others.

I've been using GoFuels for about 5 years as a preferred supplier and always keep the till slip write the distance since last fill + the milage (KM) on it and have no problem with distance per tank, the only thing that makes a difference is the motorway. 😁.
It's not just their diesel, all their fuels are considerably cheaper. The Circle K near me is charging €74.9 even with there 4 cent off offer with AXA and other premonition they and others are still ripping off the public. Go fuels and some other independent's are relying on volume sales, we should champion them for their efforts.

I was in Spain around 3 months ago and got diesel at one place for €1.13 I went to the same garage a couple of days ago at it was 12 cents a litre more expensive, still cheap though. Diesel on the motorways was just over €1.50 a litre.

When I was in Spain in October I used the GasAll app. I didn’t chase the cheapest but the most convenient at a reasonable price that was on my direction of travel.
Cheapest I got was €1.21 at an unmanned station just off the motorway.

Worked pretty good to be fair

I read that Spain have to implement an EU regulation before the end of February which will mean an increase of approx 10c a litre. I paid 1.41 a litre in Vera Diesel today.

When in Spain I use an app called GasAll prior to stopping overnight and see where the cheapest diesel is near my stopover with out going to far out of my way.
Sept/Oct 24 the lowest I got was €1.21 and the highest I got after departing Bilbao not using the app was €1.56 so research is worthwhile

Seeing that the carbon tax scam shows no signs of slowing and the majority of the people on this forum buy the vast majority of they’re fuel in Ireland how much was the increase from the latest increase on auto fuel in the south in the recent rise, has it been released, it’s 129 -133 sterling in the north for quite a while

I read this apparently is going to continue to 2030,is this correct ,constant rises for carbon tax, and then if the fuel companies increase prices that will be extra again

That's the plan alright, they don't want oil or gas

We just spent 6 weeks in Spain and used the GasAll app as in previous years.
The cheapest I got was on the AP 68 north of Zaragoza for €1.23 pl and the dearest was on the north coast where they all seem expensive for €1.52 a litre albeit only about 30 litres to give me enough to get home when I disembark at 2045hrs on Wednesday .

It’s great, basically work out your route and pick up road nos and then move your GasAll map around to the same area and pick out a station that suits on price and location
