Its a lovely walk, did it at the end of August and took the Dart back to Greystones from Bray.

Another train route with fantastic views (on a good day) is the one from Portrush to Derry/Londonderry along the coast at Benone/Downhill

This is the main Dublin to Rosslare Harbour line, the most scenic railway journey in the country. Sea cliffs, beaches, rolling hills, forests, rivers, and of course the full length of Wexford Quay, this journey has it all.
Sit on the left side facing forward comming out of Dublin for the best views. Bring a flask and sambos and enjoy the day.
