Hi Pat,

I don't know for how many years they have run the offer. We used it this year for the first time after the 2013 France trip, although we couldn't have taken up the 2012 trip due to lack of leave from work.

It has not, in my opinion, been widely advertised over the last few years and can be difficult to find on their website.

Not surprising really since the potential cost of our trip to Wales this year in April was around if I remember correctly 400 euros. Quite a saving, (or loss of income for them).

Hi again,

Just out of curiosity I looked at a January trip (furthest available future dates) Dublin Holyhead with no extras.

Outbound 20.55 Monday 12th January, Return Sunday 18th 14.10

Cost 375 euros. No wonder they don't shout the deal from the roof tops.

I agree Davy, But I can't see the point of having the offer if you don't advertise it. I know it is a loss maker on your example, but how many people use it, we had it in the past and never used it and I don't think many from the South well use it for Holiday purposes due to the cost of Sterling.

That's one of the benefit's of being joined Motorhomecraic, we save a lot on Ferries and other products by been informed. If I was depending on that email from IF's I would not know about the UK free Sailing.

As Davy says, I think they are happy for less people to know about it. It is there if you look.
