Check out the opening season for these sites, are we supposed to store our motorhomes for the six or seven months of the year that sites are closed? And did the owners ever think of the idea that if they actually levied a smaller charge, more people might make use of their facilities, therefore raising more income?
Nope, didn't think so.
Charging more does not always make you more money, especially if you have fewer customers.
Aghh I forgot - with fewer customers coming of their own free will, you could always resort to pressure and try to force people to come to you by closing every other opportunity down.

There was a big RV there at the weekend, so I assume it must be ok to use the car park again.

We called in on Sunday on our way home parked up beside the RV for an hour or so. Also 2 other small camper vans in the car park and none botherd us and no sign of anyone in the RV.

what time did you get there Beakey as we left around 7 as two other vans were arriving. There were people about the RV as they sat in the sun in the car park discussing the finer points of how to tell a swift motorhome, while I sat on the grass in front of my mh listening to people how not to spot a swift

I was there from around 5 until 7 and the two smaller ones you were speaking of left shortly after I arrived, I dont have a Swift but the two gentlemen where discussing that the badge/emblem on the side of my van and concluded that it was a swift as the two birds flying together are swifts.
