dont know martin. is that a problem if it is. also looking at a Karman Davis on a fiat ducato base imported from lithuania i presume LT, but now on irish plates

would there be a concern about the milage?


Milage I wouldn't be too concerned, but (milage) is it a UK import?


4years old, second owner, is it an x bunk camper, who puts 31.5 k miles a year on a campervan (50k. Km)
To me the layout is all wrong,+ portopottie?

No walk through from front to back, imagine that on a wild night in the dark and heavy rain.....then insurance may be a problem without the walk through,

No walk through from front to back, imagine that on a wild night in the dark and heavy rain.....then insurance may be a problem without the walk through,


It's taxed as a MH so I assume it's insured as the same , the price seems very low to me though, Renault very economical to drive

Acess is all that is required not walk trough,

The Karman Davis on a fiat ducato, I've seen a German one of them in the Hook, and I liked the layout, it was similar to our Sprinter, only much nicer, it was only a year old at the time.
But I've never seen a S/H one for sale, only new, when we were looking.

had a look at the Karman, very small double bed, and very tight spacewise. nice build though. looking at another 2 tomorrow. ill post links

had a look at the Karman, very small double bed, and very tight spacewise. nice build though. looking at another 2 tomorrow. ill post links


If the rear bed is transverse, and you are taller then 1730mm ( 5' 8") is not going to work, when you put a pillow under your head your feet touch the side. that applies to most van conversions.

John, I think the logic is, that you can't be trapped in the back, you can get into the front and maybe drive away, or get out either of the front doors.
Most A class M/H are supplied with one of thoes glass breaking hammers.

Going back to this one Rob, general consensus is, major rust problems if it wasn't minded, appearantly, they also used recycled 1960 fiat's, but unlike Mercedes they didn't add in BeanTins to the mix. 3 ltr subject to overheating, and brake problem's.

thanks Martin, looked at 2 more today, still havent seen the one.
i think we were spoiled with the hobby, most of what we are looking at are great in the photos, and unfortunetley, dont live up to them
