I was reading about that offer and see it mentions €1.60 per month driven after the free period.
Did they confirm that means if you use it and there is no charge if you don't?

Thanks

That's what I took from it.

When you registered what vehicle details did they take?
I am thinking about vehicle class and registration number for the AutoRoute. I think ours is Classe3 but sometime I go over a few times with the car too.

Hi Mark
I got a call from ATMB today and a very nice Lady explained the paper work that came with the Tag, also confirmed that it is free for one year and after that you pay 1.67 fee + the toll charges for any Month it is used and they will take the 3euro when you confirm your details.they give you a second windscreen holder for your car which is class 1 and class 2 is up to 3 Mtr and GWV of 3500.
Sorry but you guys above that have to get a class 3 truck Tag and advise them when you apply that its Campincar.

I just finished ordering the diesel emissions tag not a difficult process by following the lings on their web site with one exception for me ( I mean me, others may not find it difficult )you have to send a copy of your log book as an attachment in the ( required size less than 200 KB and in the format .png or .jpg ) and this was a big problem I when scanned the log book it was in PDF and how to transfer it to jpg of less then the 200 KB.
I don't know what UK logs books are like but ours are A4 size.
The answer eventually was to photograph it and the reduce it down to 10% and it was accepted.

If anyone knows a better way of doing it you might post it here for others to see.

Mark. If you want to ask ATMB what you should do for bigger Motorhomes they gave me a landline number in France where they will transfer you to an operator.
France country code + 45 025 2000.

Welcome to the craic James.

Just book your ferry and go.
There are so many options in France you will never be stuck.

If you are flexible on sailing dates we find Irish ferries mid week sailing costs much less than weekend sailings. August is generally cheaper than July.
We are going august again this year for around £500 including cabins with Windows both ways.

The country is massive and there is no shortage of campsites and Aires.

There are lots of members on here who go all the time so loads of help for people with experience

just heading out to run the ulster tower near Theipval for three weeks, not mhoming this time but staying in the tower.

If you are in the area and looking a safe overnight parking spot then use the Theipval Memorial car park. Use the bus space but be aware it gets busy from about half nine in morning.
Commonwealth war graves commission has even boosted their free wi fi so it now covers quite a bit of the car park.
