We're 7.7m plus bike rack and have stayed in Cobh plenty of times. Plenty of vans much longer than 7m park without issues.
We were there last Friday & Sat nights - about one or two spaces left Friday night. On Sat night it was full.
The BF Pont Aven sailed by on Saturday. No more than 10 people on deck coming in or going out. No idea if there were many artics inside but you would wonder how it pays to keep this ship on the route.

I took a spin to Cobh yesterday to check out the current (post 5km lockdown) situation there.
There were four motorhomes there.
However, there is also some civil engineering works currently ongoing in the area and bays 1 to 10 are fenced off, leaving only 11 to 30 available.
For those who don't want to cook their own meals or want to treat themselves to a special meal, during our ramble around the town we noticed that the nearby Waters Edge Hotel are serving takeaway breakfasts and evening meals. Other eateries will deliver to a motorhome.

Thanks, I might head down on Saturday and grab a burger and angry fries from the hotel.

Photos were taken yesterday evening.
Not far off being done with it. Probably another week or two by the looks of it.

Very interesting photos.
In the new Dungarvan Bye-Laws, one of the regulations states 'No vehicle other than a Motor Caravan shall be parked in the Motor Caravan Parking Area'.
So in Dungarvan, those guys would be getting a parking fine.

Isn't it lovely when cars don't respect the very few dedicated spots we get? Does that mean that we can then park just anywhere?

People are just people.

CLICK HERE to see the full deal, but no mention of bay length, I would expect them to be 8m (which may include overhang accommodation)
