You guys could be onto something here. A domestic fridge would work with a good 12 volt inverter and battery pack to back it up, because it takes very little energy to keep a fridge cold.
A fridge only rises in temperature when we leave it open or when we pack in a bunch of warm stuff.
Think about it, you can go to a festival for 2 night with an eskie containing 24 can of chilled beer and 2 kg of ice thrown on top of the cans and beer is cooled for each night.
Alternatively you can buy 24 can of supermarket warm beers, throw them into the eskie with the 2kg of ice and every beer is warm for the 2 nights.
It is about managing energy, be the source be, electrical, gas or EHU.

Re: My new RV (not quite a Blag restoration, but a bit of one)
Getting there, this is it's best side. Other side might need professionally cleaned, I was considering wrapping it, but if it all comes up as good as this, before any polish is applied, I'd be happy
Just saw the pic of the new van Ally. Looks awesome. A real "craicer".

Whatever about picking him out, you will definitely know the roar of that big V8 as she comes in. Sounds amazing. Thirsty bitch though, just like her owner

Re: My new RV (not quite a Blag restoration, but a bit of one)
Third weekend away and something wasn't right with my brakes. Slowly but surely they were failing, I got a bit worried, but kept my distance, a very large distance, took it easy and kept checking that I had brakes until I got home. They never completely failed but were quite rubbish, although they did stop the vehicle.
Brake fluid cover had corroded, it was sucking in Air and blowing out fluid.

Surprisingly I find eBay quite often has the best rates for shipping. especially for engine & chassis parts. Even when buying from the likes of summit racing.
Summit have an ebay store and the ebay shipping prices can often be cheaper than buying direct from their home webpage.
Want to replace all these rusty screws with Stainless Steel. Kevin, I think you got some before?
Yep. Went to my local fastener supplier and got a box of 200 stainless screws for a fiver. Getting my old domed head (pan) ones out wasn't too bad. Any of them that stripped with a screwdriver, I could grab the head with a vicegrips.
Yours look like regular philips head? Are they raised or countersunk?

Purchased two of these to test, turns out I only need three so should of just ordered the three
They turned out to be a great job and a lot better looking than what was on there.

Have you tried using G101? Great for cleaning but wear gloves.
The "bad" side as i call it. The side that's just not as in good as condition as the other side. I used G3 rubbing compound, on a cloth and by hand, on some nasty marks that ran right down the side, they came from a sealer someone had used around the window and it actually looked like the two thick runs were burnt into the van, but they came out perfectly so very happy with that.
Not heard of G101, I'll have a look.

I got 5ltrs of the stuff when I was living in Somerset it is the best/strongest cleaning solution I’ve ever used.BUT it is very very strong so follow the dilution directions and test in an area that is out of sight.
