I hate those bloody beer adverts for the same reason, or your mate ringing when he is on the beer and you had decided you weren't touching it until Friday.
Does that make us all alcoholics?

All right for you lot been on the strong painkillers since September 2017 so NO I really mean NO, ZERO, booze since then,
Bit like giving up the fags but there are no patches to help
So stop bleeding complaining at least when you get the urge you can crack open a can or bottle.

As it’s now approaching statement day how did the last one go using spirits instead of the green tins
Aye it's was grand, I like Gin and Ginger Ale. But......
I thought less calories than beer, but sure by the time you put the mixer with it you might as well just drink the beer.
Might just give it all up for a while to lose some weight. I have been looking at some alternatives. I find knitting sore on the wrists and crocheting too fine for my big hands.
Any suggestions welcome.

I could off, but to be honest Gin doesn't quite hit the spot, it's nice, but too easy to drink, I drink it far too fast and I went to bed feeling like I had a night on soft drinks. There is a name I could all it, but in our politically correct society I better not.

I have lost 9LB's in the last 2 week's Ally....I'm down to 19 and a half stone. By end of May 2019 I hope to be around 16 and half stone....That's the goal anyway.
I only drink on Friday and Saturday night's now and eat only proper food....Porridge, Salad's, Fruit and Veg, Chicken and Fish etc. Zero Junk!

Stick the bottle of gin into the freezer. The quicker that you drink it, the bigger the brain freeze.
You will be like a kid sucking on a slush puppy.

Yeah...Was thinking of starting a thread with my weekly updates...Will get it going by the weekend.
It got to the stage I was drinking a few can's nearly every night....Easy to do but hard to break the habit. I feel much better only having a few now at the weekend's.

I downloaded the Drink Aware app, according to that I am drinking the equivalent of 19 burgers a week!
I read something recently that there are more calories/sugar/fat in some health foods than a big mac, so if you are eating the equivalent of 19 burgers they are doing you good
