My son has just picked this one up, 1978 109 with a 2.25 petrol engine. It should keep us busy for a couple of years. Did I mention it has a galvanised chassis, that’s about the only thing a can mention.

They are stupid crazy money now. I know where there is a reasonably good one. One side jacked up "I'm going to fix it up"

Sat in the same spot not touched for 14 years. I keep asking but he says "I'm going to fix it up"

This one hasn’t been MOT’d for 10 years but started on a bump behind a tractor. Battery is on the ‘repair’ setting on charger. We’ll see if it needs a new battery tomorrow.

Was at my friends house yesterday and he took me out to show me his new toy.
One of the last defenders off the production line with 15 miles on the clock.
I did not have my phone on me at the time to take a photo but that photo will be got.

There seems to be shed loads of Santana Land Rovers in Spain. Plenty of Series 3's, some weird hybrid called the Super 88, and 88 inch chassis with a Defender front, and of course Defenders.

I had the pleasure of driving a Santana through work and they were a woeful vehicle, suspension/ gearbox and
