And they would be right!

I witnessed Oxegen on a Monday morning when I was in a tent and needed the loo. I'll not explain any further.

It's the reason we wanted the camper, toilet and shower, and we always had a plan................

Go to the camper toilet in the morning and then take immodium so we didn't have to use the portaloo's all day :)

But clean loo's can be found if you go looking and more importantly leave yourself enough time ! :) It's like any other huge event, the toilets are bad at Motorbike racing, car rallying, steam engine rallies, flower shows etc

Vantastival is a lovely little festival with a lovely atmosphere.
I thought everyone was lovely and very thoughtful.
I love the lack of security and chilled mood. It had a load of activities for the children and plenty of little stages to keep everyone happy.
Don't worry about others behavior just make sure you take home your rubbish and leave no trace and be grateful that you have not been to a huge festival where you have to wait in line for an age regardless of your gender and then one in three are out of order due to the sheer volume of traffic.

When it rains look for rainbows and when it is dark look for stars!

My dashcam was running as I was leaving so I can upload the video to demonstrate this.

If you still have it, please do. I left just after you and know our area was tidy then. I reckon it's been the wind.

I'm working tomorrow and Friday so if I haven't recorded over it i can connect up the laptop and download the memory card at the weekend, should be still there as it holds 8 hours.

Damn useful thing, saved me a fine today. I was going to Altnagelvin hospital, travelling in from the country side on the dual carriageway. As I approached the traffic lights I got into the righthand lane and as the lights were green I entered the turning area with the arrow in the meridian between both flows and because there was oncoming traffic waited for the filter light.
It didn't happen and I was left on the arrow between both flows as the lights changed allow traffic out of the hospital, I was blocking 1 lane. I noticed the second car that I was blocking was a police car and he gestured that I should drive through the red light. I refused and continued my manoeuvre when the light changed. He did a u turn and stopped me, and gave me a bollocking, I explained that I did nothing wrong but he was reluctant to listen. I told him that if he felt like issuing a ticket I would contest it in court with video evidence and showed him the camera. With that he back down and said that the filter light must only work at the start of the sequence ,and that I should have driven through the red light when he gestured that I should. O-) I said I hadn't previously done anything illegal and wasn't going to drive through a red light, but if he hadnt been there I would have.
