I remember Noel saying the Aire was open all year

Waterways Ireland on the other hand turn off the ehu by the boats over winter for some reason

I just thought they may have turned the MH off too, to discourage people staying at the moment, good to hear its on

Definitely plan to visit Portumna at some point over Xmas....Is electric included in the price or buy separate?

Nope...electric is separate
John... you have to get Ireland waterways card which you can get in supervalu in portuma....

Lough Rynn in Leitrim was open on the 9th November. Only van there but really enjoyed the location.
Only facilities closed was the campers kitchen, heating and hot water showers working.
