Started yesterday to fit new LED lighting in van to replace existing fluorescent and filament lighting. A great success and will enable longer stints on leisure battery.

I replaced my 18 month old faulty halford 110 amp leisure battery with a new one from them under warranty. Fair play to Halfords Limerick, they replaced it without question even though I didnt have the reciept and gave me another two years warranty with the new one.

Johnny 07542393780 He came to me and did the job at my house. I used him last year as well. He does a good job inside and out. He comes from about Ballywalter so Antrim may be too far for him.

Well done Ally glad yours got through. Mine is up next year but Ive only done 7,500 miles and been regularly serviced so I should have no problem. Where did you take yours and how difficult was it?

Booked it online and had to phone Hagans before I finished the booking. Anything over 3500 is classed as commercial HGV on the website booking form. Can't remember the price for commercial but think it was double. Hagans said to book it in as a private car test, £30.50, but of course that then puts you in the wrong lane!
Higher vehicles need Lane 1, anyhow I done as Hagans suggested and when I arrived they re-directed me to lane one, I was lane 2.
I asked about booking it by phone the next time instead of online and the inspector said probably best to call in as I still wouldn't be able to book lane 1.
They need a Motorhome option on the online booking.
I booked it into Ballymena and it's the old type test as it's a high vehicle, shake the steering when asked etc
