Do the day lights look original or as an add on? Would be good if you could poser a pic. Have been toying with the idea for a while.

Yes Jack, They look original, they are 70mm round lamps and I removed the blanks for the fog lights and fitted them in those holes. I am better at painting bumpers than up loading photos so I will have to get a bit of help on that.

I don't expect anything major and it gets the annual service a few days later just in case.

Passed the MOT but they mentioned the discs looked a bit pitted.

Took it to the guys who service it and got 4 new discs and pads as well as a service.
I am glad I did. The discs which came off were in very bad condition.

All set for France now, well almost, somone opened a car door against it while in for service and cracked a bit of exterior trim. Simon is on the job as I type.

Mark, Simon will do a good job. It's very annoying when that happens I'm afraid I would go crazy if it happened to my Motorhome. Hope you enjoy France. We are going to Bordeaux in October and ringing Harry the Mehari on a trailer with us. We just love France. Enjoy.

Just ordered a fanbelt, always good to have a spare when in France, and a spare fuel filter. I"m having trouble at the mo" as I think I bought some "dirty" fuel last year and I may have to drain the tank 🇧🇭 . The petrol"s been in the tank since last year as we run on LPG most of the time.

Got a 100w solar panel and 2 new 100ah batteries fitted by willie last week. Out this weekend with them for the first time so will see how I go. He also fitted a new reversing camera and a monitor which pops up from the dashboard. Wonderful definition on picture and wide angle so great view behind. My teenage daughter tells me it is very cool and a little bit James Bond!! and she hasn't said anything like that about me for a very long time!! :D

I took the plunge and had a solar panel fitted even though I have a Honda 2i generator. Willie fitted it for me and was most helpful and did a very neat job and also fitted a new high level brake light. thanks Willie for being so helpful. I'm pleased with it and hopefully I won't need to connect the van up to the electrics at home now.

I got a tv with built in DVD for the bedroom area as my eyesight can't see the one at the front. So far it seems like a good buy at £99 and before anyone asks I haven't a clue if its soar view compatible but will let everyone know once I do.

http://www.kogan.com/uk/buy/19…-freeview/

The non DVD one can be had for £64 plus a 12v lead.

Just bought a ABUS door lock bit expensive but will give more security as I never did have much faith in the existing habitation door lock. Hopefully my son will allow me to help installing it! Also In Home Base a battery LED light handy gadget for awning etc.

I bought a 2000 watt inverter from Willie (Rossdowney Leisures Services) see link here and he fitted it today for me. What a bit of kit and its so neatly fitted one would think that's its an original part of the Motorhome. Thanks Wille for an excellent professional job.
