Let it load and it will open at your location, unless you're running a VPN. Or you don't have location services switched on, on your device.

Better explanation, was tired last night. The following is only a snippet really, it's working, all the coding that we wanted done for first release is done, but you are not seeing everything as huge details are missing. This is because the information isn't there yet, hopefully all the places will be added today. Once that happens then I'll start adding details to each place. I'll concentrate on one and show that as an example. It looks really well once the data is inputted, but at least, later on today, once we add all the locations you'll have a basic map to work off.

Looking forward to the new app.
I'm recovering from a triple heart bypass in the RVH.
But while in ICU I discovered the lady in the bed next to me ownes a Pub / B&B in the Strabane area.
She's more than willing to have motorhomes stay over.
So that's my first stop in the Newyear
I only ever add Poi's while I'm on the spot as I think coordinates are important. So morral of the story.

App news: bringing the reviews over from MPI has created a huge amount of work that we didn't expect, if you could see the code to extract the reviews your bottom jaw would hit your feet.
The Dev team is flat out with this and it'll hopefully be anytime now.

Our places were always on a Google map.

We have wanted to change it to a database for a long time, it has lots of extra benefits, one being that its harder to steal. But more options just fall into place, a lot more, as you can see from the menus in each place and more. We tried swapping from Google map by hand and after one day I worked out it would take two people working 5 days a week, 8 hours a day, 14 weeks to do that.

Warren wrote an automated script to do this, but it turned into an immense amount of work due to the formatting of the information on the app.

Hopefully he can manage to drag the reviews over kicking and screaming

Could he not write the script to ignore any reviews older than say 2 years as they are likely out of date and not as relevant now anyway? Likely no less work I would think but less work if you had gone with the 2 people working 8 hours a day option
