Pat,

As you haven't been here before.

Depends what way you come but if you go towards Belfast International Airport, when you get to the Airport roundabout, "Airport turn left - Antrim straight ahead" your Satnav will probably tell you to go right, don't, it takes you down a very narrow road! go straight over the roundabout heading for Antrim. Then you can either turn right onto the Ballyharvey Road or go past that and BEFORE the railway bridge turn right onto the Sevenmile Straight.

Or... You could go straight through Belfast and head towards Antrim on the M2, take the Templepatrick turn off, Go through Templepatrick, turn left at the roundabout heading towards the Airport, approx 2 miles you will see a sign on your right, pointing left for Loanends, go left there "Old Ballyrobin Road", go to the top of the hill and turn right, approx 1 mile we are on the right.

Does that make sense? :)

Ally,

First option sounds easier, I think I will put Belfast Imt. Airport in sat nav and follow your instructions, Thanks.

Those that are coming Saturday, we were thinking of visiting Belfast Saturday night as we know of a group playing that you should all like. Couple of cars here and can book a taxi bus if needed, let me know if you's fancy that or not?

An Apology

 ·
Posted: 16.01.2013  ·  #63
it has been drawn to my attention that I may have caused offence to some people at the New Year's Eve function by a comment I made.

If I have caused offence to "FlansVan" John, and Ron from "Dotron and their friends who were playing the instruments at the party I apologise unreservedly.

When you guys were due to play I was approached by another member asking me to introduce you as the 'Old somethings or other' and that they wouldn't mind and it would be taken as a joke. Perhaps you could mention this to your invited friends as I don't think they are members here.

From what I've been told it didn't go down well and caused offence. I apologise.

Viktor

Viktor, I have spoke to everyone tonight that you mentioned in your post and not one of them was offended in any shape or form, they hadn't even a clue what I was talking about!!

So I don't know where you heard that but it is utter nonsense.

Us geeeeeetarists were more worried about offending you as you had came there to DJ. :D

Ok Thanks Ally and Ron.

I'd never intentionally offend someone with a comment, but if in doubt no harm in apologising. Quickest said, soonest mended.
