Panda I fitted it to my last 2 motorhomes and it was an easy fit. Worse thing is drilling the hole in the toilet hatch. I must have measured it 10 times before drilling. I found the instructions easy to follow
Agree Robert, in fact if you get the Vellman MK111 kit the relay is on it. Just leave the 1m resistor pot off and you can set it to kick in for a given time.
Make your own sog I did fitted it to my last Motorhome save yourself a fortune all it is ,is a relay a fan and a countdown timer
Or don't buy any parts at all and change your van to one which has it already installed.
Surely that's even cheaper?

It vents out through a charcoal filter, which you replace every 18 months to 2 years. Zero smell if the filter is good. I have been sat right beside it whilst the toilet was in use. Nothing. Just a hum from the fan

2” fan £3.00 relay 30p countdown timer £4.00 fan box£1.50 wire laying about ,hose from a washing machine ,fuse and fuse holder from an old car my son scraped all in all 8.50 bit cheaper than a new van ,for got charcoal filter mat used one from our kitchen extractor fan
