That's what I was thinking, the sailors were coming ashore all over the country end of July early August, Keen Bay in Achill was full of then the beach stank of fish above the tide line where they were marooned and died.

I was never at keen bay , only at the Aire in Achill. I heard the roads get very Narrow after that.

The roads are fine after Achill sound and it's
worth a visit to the rest of the island
