Never knew the aircraft registration (N-3794N) until now, being involved in aviation and being nosey what caused the crash, I’ve googled and read the NTSB accident report which makes for interesting reading, ..... and with all the passing years it’s findings are still the biggest cause of loss of life in general aviation, that being pilot error. Report HERE, the conclusion at the end sums it up.

Just seen the owner of the microlite( the guy selling)..His garage and face looked familiar....Knew I'd met him before! Myself and my brother were in his house 6 or 7 years ago buying a 944 turbo from him....He was telling us all about his love for flying etc...Nice guy, He had health issues but good to see him well.....Bloody small world!!

Was good. Bobby contacted me away back a few years ago and got parts for that Flash 2 Alpha flexing, he actually was taxiing it and tipped it over, hence the damage. We flew into that field once and he had it mowed for us but it’s not maintained or in use now..... Bobby really only flew as a passenger and never advanced with training. An interesting old lad and it was a good documentary.

I heard about this last night, advertised on the radio but the way it was explained I thought it was a tribute act.
No....Buddy and Roy's vocals with live band and backing singers. I toyed with going last time when it was just Roy Orbison but now the have introduced Buddy's music into the hologram show I think I'll go....How bad can it be?.....Lot's of great reviews actually
