A few after a good interior clean. Cooker Stainless Steel machine polished.
Pretty good or 27 years old - I'll go for a modernisation later.
Looks much younger than 27 years, Ally. Some great furniture on board, You would know payload wasn't an issue by the quality of it. you could live full time no problem in it.
Enjoy Guys!

cheers.
Not sure on payload yet, but I think Gross weight is 5.5 tonne, although a 7.5 tonne chassis, again I think. Need to find a brochure, but proving hard to do. Not worried though, I know the payload will be loads.

These are photos of the main wiring for the habitation area, before and after!
Story sort of goes like this.......... on arrival in UK, some of it changed to 240, most of it still 110v, over the years people have added and taken away things, although not certain I think the attempt at wiring in a military grade genny was attempted by different people. Things they added and taken away over the years were never taken away completely, wiring was left.
The wires that have been taken out would nearly re-wire it again
But it's looking much better with better cables, new relays etc. Power now goes to things that had no power, lights on the dash work that haven't worked in a long while.
A proper job done by someone who knows these vehicles like the back of his hand.

It a miracle than it's only the circuit board of the fridge that is toasted, by the looks of the wiring in the photos. You were very lucky in having someone who had the knowledge and confidence in tackling the rewiring job.
Best of luck with the revamp and hope to catch up with ya on the road.

I agree - did you see the jump leads? they were a permanent fixture! Wish I had of taken a photo of behind and below the dash, before and after.
Catch up soon.

Bloody 'ell mate, looks a peach, love it, dont firget to add plenty of Waxoil underneath, I've used about 6 cans on ours. Can't wait to see it, now at least I'll not be the only Yank at meets and festivals.
That's all great until you are doing 200 miles on a motorway and the drone of the exhuast is driving you mad, stuff that
Exactly!
Years ago someone told my dad that you'd increase power & fuel economy by reducing back pressure, so he mail ordered a 24" cherrybomb from JC.Whitney in the US. We swapped it out with the stock silencer as soon as it arrived.
While it made NO difference to mpg, it did make a difference to power. The exhaust sounded f*kin awesome, but the resonating through the cab was unbearable. Cool for burbling through a town or campsite at low rpm I suppose, but horrific at high rpm.
I guess that's why some guy invented "cutouts".
(Still have that cherrybomb somewhere. Need to find it.)

Re: My new RV (not quite a Blag restoration, but a bit of one)
Got them off Rockauto, I can get you the part number if needed.
There were two in it, right up next the grille but they were badly corroded and the hoses were perished, were also quite a bit smaller. As you can see we have removed the Air con radiator, Air con wasn't working and it needed regassed. It's the old USA gas that we can't get here.
So the transmission coolers went were the Air Con radiator used to be. The one at the front is the oil cooler.
Mechanic ideally wanted one single bigger rad but in the end we went for those as it was getting long drawn trying to find the right one.
I had a look at the rock auto website, some good options but the big ones are spendy.
It just occurred to me that there's a truck dismantlers just north of me in Mitchelstown who might have something that'd do. I sent them a message to see if they had any transmission coolers in stock. Might save me a few quid if they have something out of a medium sized truck. I have a ton of space in between the rad and the back of the grille, so my options are open.
