Saw on TV news snow caused chaos in the Loire this week 3 weeks ago we where sleeping with the van windows open to stay cool

On the bank of the Siene near Rouen.
Mad windy all day, but sunny and the temperature got up into the mid 20C.

Giverney already 15° today. yesterday 27° it was do nice we put the chairs out and had dinner instead of moving on. Versailles Huttopia today and then a couple of days in and out on the train €12. All transport ticket. About the same as a return ticket on the Dart from Greystones.

28c , blue skies, lunch of Mussels, crusty French bread and ice cold Breton cider. Only 3 months to go until I get back to good old N. Ireland. Well , that's life!!!!

Enjoy. Looks like it's going to be a another belter today. You are just a wee bit North of us , we are at St. Vincent Sur Jard . I'm told the good sized mussels finish here around the end of September, so fill your boots!! 😋
