When we were there 2 weeks ago, I met a few regular patrons and asked them on their views on the "6.5 metres ".
One guy, who visits once a month, said that the signage is misprinted. The 6.5 metres is the maximum lenght of the mh from the front bumper to the rear of the back wheels. In other words when the rear wheels are touching the curb at the grass, your front bumper must be inside the parking bay. He said that the bye laws passed by the council reflects this but the signage graphics are wrong and the caretakers allow for this.

Did get this sorted, thanks Mad Max. I phoned Galway CC and spoke with person in fines dept. She told me if he hadn't issued a ticket there and then, there was no facility to do so afterwards. She said she would send someone to check printing ink. Advised me to call her if I received any correspondence from Galway CC.
