Was just looking at the prices for France end of September. But maybe book closer to the time depending on the situation. We may be a red zone by then.
Don't like putting a step out on the ground if I'm not on a campsite or aire which has led to me twisting my ankle while stepping out onto uneven ground on a couple of occasions. Hopefully this will mean that I don't have a repeat incident.

Re: What have you bought for your Motorhome recently?
They can be wired into the door locking mechanism so as when you unlock the door they open out and when you lock the door they retract.
For non remote door locking they can be wired into a button inside the motorhome.

I was interested in the same step. But i didn’t have the clearance in the under carriage for it. Charles Camping did let me take one out of the box to size it up. I ended getting the Thule slide out step in the end. Still haven’t installed it tho
Day 8 of our family holiday and our (submersible) water pump failed by burning out the cable, it might of shorted when I overfilled the tank and didnt have the top caps locked down correctly. It could also have been due to replacing the pump with a higher flow rate earlier this year but either way I was thankful I kept the old one in the garage and replaced it with the original.
After a miserable experience with internet connectivity on our holiday (Huawei B818 router and Vodaphone network) I went all in and picked up a dual sim Rutx12 router and a Qspot antenna. Its a significant investment but my job requires me to be online and also helps to keep the kids happy when the weather is not great. So far so good, Dicks field was always poor for me but I hit 70Mbps after testing
Not up to your standard Krissove, Vodafone does not work in our place in the Hook, but Tesco on 3 will work. I'll run with 3 and then use the Vodafone sim if it has a better signal around the country,
But got this so far works well in the hook and the van, more testing next week,

Yes getting fitted hopefully Monday although I've had the usual problem with the handbrake passing with 1 point to spare. The tester said that the footbrakes just passed as well.
Just ordered a new sim from Superdrug mobile, confirmed unlimited data in Europe for £20 per month. It works off 3 network and you can cancel/pause the contract anytime.
I’m currently on Smarty but it’s restricted to 12GB in Europe
Its a good bit of kit, definately not to be sniffed at.
Certainly not to be sniffed at, if you leave it a few days to mature before dumping . ( it's a mistake only made once. b,t,d,d, )
you know the way when you have emptied, before you leave a site, and stop overnight somewhere on the way, when you get home, you decide, I'll sort out the van later in the week,
With SOG don't, do it ASAP.
