Hi ken, thanks a lot man! We could be motoring but have chosen not to as we like this particular spot in Garretstown House near Kinsale. I've some friends here with static mobile homes so the craic is mighty after the sun goes down. Plus, the boss arrives for her summer holidays this Friday into cork airport so we are hanging around for her before we head west to the Hideaway site in Skibbereen and onward to Caherdaniel after that.

But yep... We are back mobile again! :-)

Have a great trip Mark

Why would you want a microwave in the Unit? Surely part of it all is stepping back a little for the cooking malarky - BBQ, Boil & Fry 8-)

Surely the microwave must be small is size@ 10 litre?

Our current van came with a mains microwave installed as standard but I doubt it will be used much.

The microwave in question on the thread is a 12 volt one and we are keen to hear how it performed and effected the batteries.

I intend to have a great trip. Thanks

Same here. We kept driving since we left Cherbourg.

Drove for 8 hours in mixed weather.

Stopped with my parents for a few days.

Forecast looking better for the next few days.

At 26k it hasn't stood still, have you thought about another test centre? I had to get one wheel bearing looked at on the wife's Musso as it failed first time, it needed the front hub tightened, the garage just replaced it even though it wasn't done it was in its way out and that with 128k on it.

Got TV number 2 fitted - whoop whoop.

And to quote myself, when we had a tent for a few years and we dandered around the campsites peering in at the fancy motorhomes 'if we ever get a motorhome there is no way we will have a TV in it, how stupid do those people look sitting in a field watching TV"

:D :D :D

Yes Jack.
I have just managed to get into that location. A great spot which just happens to house another auto trail.
It is very handy to be able to work on the small blemishes to the finish at this time of year.
