2 LED lights

 ·

We have a mid- height transverse bed at back but only light is above bed head.
Use it more for storing things we need, but area very dark, bought these 2 battery operated lights recently in Lidl but can’t find box or price. (Lidl)

Awhile ago also bought for sitting area in evening a good light for reading and knitting, we have a very powerful recharable spotlight, great when no EHU, or in awning (Aldi)

Aldi have Slow cookers on offer this week ,less then 320 watt . Lidl have a small 3.5 ltr one on Thursday not sure of the wattage .ideal if you're on EHU for a nice all in one winter meal. Could Probably even run it on the inverter.

At home we have an electric pressure cooker/ slow cooker...only ever use one setting ie 15 mins for veg, soup or casserole but it is quiet, not steamy and at end it sits in keeping-warm mode. We bring it with us in MH though quite big but nice when salad season is over.
Easy to clean. Otherwise use deep non stick frying pan with lid and small saucepan for boil-in-bag rice.

Been an expensive few weeks, last month new mirror ordered through LTS cost £500
Also got it serviced down here €327.

REAR PROTECTION BAR

 ·
Posted: 30.10.2017  ·  #414
Just got a rear protection bar made by Burrows Engineering. ( Cookstown BE Racing Team Owner )
Saw one on Ebay for £250, thought it a bit expensive for what it was, just a round stainless steel pipe and 2 brackets.
Got this one made from 40 mm stainless steel box section, supported on 2 flat bar brackets fitted inside the chassis legs
I gave him the inside measurements of the chassis legs , overall width of the van and length of the 2 flat bars with 2 bolt holes.
Collected it a week later and had change out of £100

Just bought these camping seats in Halfords.
€20 each and seem to be good quality.
Very good value I think.

Not bought yet but booked in Tuesday for a remap. I had a plug in for about 14 years which was brilliant but it got water into. Tried a couple of different ones but they were no use and got a refund. I have a blue chips one at the moment but won’t work on the van for some reason. It has been back to them twice and checked but they say there is nothing wrong with.
