Sold out. Not helped by Facebook and its warriors.

People who have been in it 40years couldn't get a pass.
They really should have a loyalty scheme.

INTRODUCTION
Touring in the Trees is an exclusive ring of small touring sites placed so that they can be used as
bases from which to explore the forests and surrounding countryside.
The forest sites are generally convenient to the main tourist routes but are reserved exclusively for
permit holders. Formalities are minimal. Once you have purchased your permit the freedom of all
9 sites is yours to enjoy, but you must not stay longer than 3 nights at a time on any one site.
Accommodation is designed primarily for caravans although there is normally room for an awning.
For those who prefer a longer stay in one place, there are larger fully equipped sites at four Forest
Parks - Glenariff, Castlewellan, Tollymore and Drum Manor. These sites operate independently
from the permit scheme and must be booked in advance through the Forest Service online
booking system (link).
Touring in the Trees sites cannot be booked in advance and should not be reserved.
They are allocated on a first come first served basis.

More like a lot of idiots who really believe that they are getting campsites with hot showers, meeting rooms, toilet and grey waste, also electric.
Well sorry you fools you get a parking spot in the trees.
It is called touring in the trees.😋😂
This really is a good facility but only for those that know what self sufficient motorhomeing is about.

There is also part of me thinking, if it is so popular, create twice as many sites or up the price. Did manage to renew our permit on the second day it was released. It’s was unfortunate that someone boasted about getting theirs on the unofficial members fB site at 10am on the day of release to the 300 non members who had also been accepted into the group. 500+ redials later….. It is a great scheme but they need to think about demand vs supply.

Just don't do what a person in Facebook was asking and give them a copy of your pass to show you're a real member to get into an exclusive TITTs fb group 🤣🤣

I would say that it is more the case that there are people out there that do not understand the difference between basic camping and camping with full facilities.

They really do, they also need to get their finger out and re-open the closed ones. We never joined again since they closed Ballyboley.

Another couple from near Antrim, 40 years a member and couldn't get this year because of the FB warriors.

Aged couple and they are distraught, they used Florence Court and there was never anyone else there.
