New easier method to add photos & media.

Quite self explanatory if you look at the following image.

 


 


The above option is available on full editor only, not quick reply. You will see it when you create a new post/topic or a reply.

Give it a go and let us know how you get on. Post test images to this thread.

Jeez. I must be some thick. I can't do it. Can get photo up. Then what. Says go to editor. Then seems stuck. I'm on iPhone. Maybe that's the problem 😩

You send the pic to the editor - which is this box I am writing in. Close the pic and post.

I think that's what I did, I am not quite sure how, I did see the code, will try it again from the phone .

Well if you decide to do it and I sincerely hope you do, we will have unlimited space very soon along with unlimited bandwidth so don't worry about external hosting the images.

We've ran out of disk space, it was meant to be temporarily increased before server move. I'll look into it.

I've tried dozens of times,it's not working for me,I've put it down to the fact that I'm still using an old iPad 2. I guess if I want to post pics I'll have to hijack my daughters laptop lol.

It uploads automatically after you select pic? do you mean add to editor? sorry trying to work out whats going on :)

Once you press add to editor, it seems like nothing happens, but it adds the code to post the image to your post, you just need to close the screen with add to editor on it and submit post. You can close that screen by clicking anywhere else on the website, if you don't have an X.

Hi Jjf, I followed your tutorial and after I select my pic, I don't see the same screen as u showed. My screen gives me three options
Reset, upload, done,
no matter what I click on noting happens.
I have the same problem when I am on other sites, I've just given up trying. Lol
